International Institute of Welding (IIW) and European Welding Federation (EWF) Turkey Authorized Institution
IAB (International Authorization Board), which is a part of IIW (International Institute of Welding) and EWF (European Welding Federation), is an independent Qualification and Certification unit with a separate board of directors that supervises the activities and activities of organizations working on welding.TR-ANB (Turkish Authorized Nominated Body), which operates as the authorized body of IIW and EWF in Turkey, was established in cooperation with Gedik Education Foundation and Turkish Academy of Welding Technology, but continues to work independently of these organizations. TR-ANB supervises national authorized institutions (ATB - Approved Training Body) that provide training in the field of welding and supervises the training processes and exams of these institutions.
TR-ANB's activities are carried out in line with the principles of continuous improvement and quality management of IIW and EWF. This approach increases the international recognition of the training and certification processes in the field of welding in Turkey and contributes significantly to sectoral development and raising standards.
