Today, 3 Authorized Training Bodies (ATB) operating in Turkey offer Welding Engineering programs in TR-ANB under the roof of the ATB. These ATBs and their locations are as follows:
Brief information on the activities carried out within the scope of their authorization is presented below.
GEV-ATB (Gedik Education Foundation-Gedik University Authorized Educational Institution) Activities
GEV-ATB started its efforts to become an authorized training institution in 2008 in cooperation with the French ANB and after completing the application and auditing processes, it opened its first course on March 16, 2009. During this period, International Welding Engineering (IWE) courses through the French ANB as a result, 180 IWE diplomas were awarded.
The Gedik Education Foundation is an independent, independent organization to respond to the needs of the Turkish welding industry. It initiated the process of establishing an ANB. In this context, since 2010, through TR-ANB International/European Welding Engineering courses, now totaling four courses per year. (one of which is an evening group). It is also organized three times a year International/European Welding Inspection Personnel courses to meet the needs of the sector trainings are ongoing.
GEV-ATB is working to establish GEV Izmir-ATB in order to extend its services to the Aegean Region. and after completing all audit processes, in May 2017, the first International/European Welding Engineering course. GSI SLV-TR (Welding Technology Testing and Professional Development Center) Studies
GSI SLV-TR is the Turkish version of GSI-SLV, a company founded by the German Welding Society (DVS). Gedik Education Foundation started its operations as a partnership in October 2008. The Gedik Education Foundation initiated the process of establishing an independent ANB to respond to the needs of the industry Together with the GSI SLV-TR, the GSI SLV-TR has been providing International/European Source Contributed to the Inspection Personnel courses.
As of May 2017, GSI SLV-TR has added its 16th International Welding Engineering class. TR-ANB and expanded its activities. In this context, on November 03, 2017 International/European Welding Engineering courses organized under TR-ANB authorization, remote has started the process of awarding diplomas to successful participants with the training model.

METU-ATB (Middle East Technical University Authorized Training Institution) Studies
International Welding Engineering courses at METU were established in 1992 in partnership with SLV-Munich. was initiated. These courses were organized for 28 semesters between 1992 and 2011, In total, 785 participants were awarded a diploma. During this period, 99 participants received their EWE (European Welding Engineer) diploma and 686 participants received the IWE (International Welding Engineer) diploma.

The frequency of the courses, which were initially organized once a year, increased in 2003 due to increasing demand. It was increased to two trainings per year and to three trainings per year in 2008.
