• Mechanized Welding Personnel - Basic (IMW-B): 55 Hours
• Orbital Welding Personnel - Basic (IOW-B): 51 Hours
• Robotic Welding Personnel - Basic (IRW-B): 88 Hours
• Robotic Welding Personnel - Comprehensive (IRW-C): 127 Hours
• Mechanized, Orbital, Robotic Welding Personnel - Comprehensive (IMORW-C): 155 Hours

Comprehensive Level

Candidates applying for this level must meet the access requirements for at least the International Welding Master (IWS) level and have appropriate practical welding experience. Candidates can document their welding experience in one of the following ways:

• IW fillet welder diploma or equivalent national vocational welding qualification
• 60 hours of practical training (IWE, IWT, IWS)
• A valid welder certificate according to ISO 9606-1 standard
• At least 40 hours of practical welding training completed prior to the course

Basic Level

Basic level candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:

• IW fillet welder diploma or equivalent national welding qualification
• Meet the access requirements for the comprehensive level
• To have completed at least 6 months of national welder training program

• Technical knowledge and application skills in accordance with IIW directives
• Definition and management of welding systems at different levels of automation
• Basic knowledge about robot programming and welding process control
• Experience reinforced with case studies relevant to industry practice
